I did see that on a feed this morning. Very cool. The museum should add a stage backdrop of some kind behind the rig.

I think a history museum would have been more fitting.
Sammy did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.
Michael did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.

Q: who was the biggest douche that you have worked with?

A: Eddie Van Halen hands down he threatened all the stage hands that if we wernt all pushed to the side when he got off stage that he would "bash our faces in"

Now the new David-Lee-Roth-Van Halen album, “Tokyo Dome In Concert,” is available for purchase, and it’s super, super, super, super, super, super, crazy bad. - Doug Elfman

Jimmy Page, Don Felder, Steve Miller, and Tina Waymouth were on hand to open the exhibit. No EVH sightings... Probably busy.

I think it's awesome that over the past several years Page has done a lot more in the public eye than you'd expect him too. Led Zeppelin truly is rock royalty in my book.

Very cool exhibit. I'm sure that in addition to the black and white Frankie SOME of those pieces must be reproductions. The bomb looks different than the one seen in old photos. And, wasn't most of Ed's gear stolen before the Texas Jam show way back when? I wouldn't have thought that he'd still have all those old cabs. This is the first that I think they've been seen since back in those days. If they're original, that is.

So there's the overdue nod to VH's 40th anniversary..... Haha.
Not quite what we thought, eh, fellas?

I dare say that everything sitting in that display is a replica. Not buying that’s the original, “anything “ behind the glass! Of course, I feel like shit today because of all the pollen floating around here and it has my sinuses on fire, (VH Ref). And, I’m being a negative Nancy today too because of it!

Point being, can’t be the original Franky and fuck you spring!!!

Mu understanding was that coming back from Japan, there was a fuck up in the equipment not arriving with the band. Lost, but eventually found, after the Texxas Jam gig.

He hasn`t really gotten out there and played but he's released some Zeppelin concerts on DVD and CD , remastered The Song Remains The Same CD and DVD with some killer tracks that didn't make the original , the DVD has some cool outtakes . He remastered the Zep catalog twice , ok probably not necessary but the 2nd time around each CD had a companion disc of outtakes and rarities . He's released some books that probably only Zep diehards bought . Now I'm just hoping he'll give Earls Court `75 an official release. At 75 safe to say his days of getting out there and playing are done

I THINK that may well be the original red, white and blank Frankie. None of the replicas ever had the weathering 100%. My forensic eye is not 100% anymore, but that LOOKS legit to me.
