She's made custom painting her guitars her thing. The age group of her audience may not realize there was a guy already known for doing that in the `80's!
There's definitely a sudden outbreak of pretty ladies playing guitars (and other instruments) these days. It started with Tal Wilkenfeld, then Nita Strauss, and keeps going. Maybe it started with D'arcy in Smashing Pumpkins, or Lisa Loeb? I could do a thread on this. A pretty girl who's interested in guitars just sends me. They're a very rare species.
EDIT: Just watched some of this video again for the first time in a few months. She painted a different guitar for each song on her first album. She calls that particular one "Betty Van Halen."
