Did David Lee Roth really ball someone else's girlfriends?

I heard this story about Dave: When he was a rockstar in Van Halen's heyday, if some guy, at the wild party, threw a water bottle at him, Dave would openly threaten that he will come out there and ball his girlfriend, and he was really serious and he DID that.

Is that real? Roth really balled someone else's girlfriends and he was not rejected by them and their boyfriends didn't get angry for that? This is really interesting and surprising to me. It seems Dave could do whatever he wanted, LOL.

It was part of his onstage persona / shtick if you will. I saw him say the same thing at around the same time of the show two nights in a row in the early 1980's. There is no doubt he got it on with many girlfriends, but probably not the exact ones he was pointing to in the crowd when he delivered those lines. He would say it if someone threw anything up on the stage (coins, you name it), and sometimes I doubt things were even thrown. I don't think anyone was throwing water bottles in the CVH era, as drinking bottled water all of the time was a fairly unknown concept at that time. lol It was available but you didn't see everyone walking around with commercially bottled water like you do now.

PS- Just saw the second vid posted by James, and Dave mentions someone squirting water at him, so there you have it. But it was part of his shtick, just like "I forgot the f'in words".

Yes, that's when I saw it two nights in a row, but in Philly. It shattered my naive thoughts that these were spontaneous, non-scripted shows when Dave had the same rambling story both nights. heh When was it back then, during EWS if I recall correctly when he told his story.
