    Default Best Albums of 2018!

This thread is where you can list your top albums and/or songs of 2018. Add links to various publication’s best of 2018 lists.

    My favorite albums of 2018:

10 Kamasi Washington – Heaven and Earth
09 Janelle Monae - Dirty Computer
08 St Paul and the Broken Bones - Young Sick Carmellia
07 Leon Bridges - Good Thing
06 Amanda Shires - To The Sunset
05 The Beths - The Future Me Hates Me
04 Brandi Carlile - By The Way I Forgive You
    03 Boygenius - Boygenius
02 Neko Case - Hell On
01 Idles - Joy As An Act of Resistance

Only one RAWK album on this list. Not sure if that says more about me or more about the state of music in 2018.

I would have to go back about 25 years ago to 10 albums I liked released in the same year!

Voivod's new record "The Wake" (Sept 2018)

The 2nd best band to ever come out of Canada, imo.

Classic Voivod grooves. Piggy would be proud.

    My favorite album of 2018?

Don't know yet, as I haven't bought one. Still hopeful though!!
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

A man's rights rests in three boxes: the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

I haven't been all that impressed this year.

While I'm not much of a jazz fan, I picked up Van Morrison and Joey DeFrancesco's album and found it coooool. Just a really nice album. Enjoy!

Paul McCartney Egypt Station is the only 2018 release I've got.

I listened to the new GVF on youtube and decided I don't need to own it.

Can't answer this one proper in one post. I aquired music in 2018 from other years.

Well, I haven't bought many newly released albums this year either. Still, four albums did make the list

    3. Graveyard - Peace
    2. Judas Priest - Firepower
    1. DeWolff - Thrust
