Default Al should take some lessons from this girl

She plays it more accurately than he does.

Wow - very impressive. Remember all those years of debate about how Al could never pull this off without over-dubbing, etc. She makes it look easy. Well, not easy.

    Cool vid.

1/ Put her in a Delorean Time Machine
    2/ Set it to 1987
3/ Give her my address at the time

Al teased the correct intro durning the 1984 tour. He could do it live.

As for the thread title. Al don't need no stinkin' click. Or lessons.
VH III is Ed's solo album. So everybody who keeps saying they wish he'd do one needs to stfu and listen to III. Then stfu again.

While impressive, she is playing digital drums and so I suspect it's somewhat easier to get Al's sound and tone electronically then if she were actually playing acoustic drums. Now, if she were playing real drums and sounding like that, well, that's another story....

But Al recorded HFT on Simmons electric drums. The snare and roto toms of course are real but the floor tom and the kick drums are Simmons SDS-V drums. I give her credit because it's actually harder to do this on an electric set because you have to be dead on with your hits or it sounds sloppy. An acoustic set is a little more forgiving when it comes to that. Very impressive for anyone to play it this well much less a 13 year old girl!

This, to me, is why Wolfgang playing with Tremonti is not that impressive.

He can play for sure, rock solid...
But we live in the youtube age, and 13 year old girls are freaking slaying HFT!

How do you get to that point (Being that young & having that much command?)

I guess it's evolution, because when i was in Junior High, if you could play the intro
to ATBL, you were considered a High School God.

Yeah, and i kinda preferred those days over today.

It was more special getting a solo or riff down.

This kid went home for Summer Vacation, and came back playing all these
    Demartini leads & rhythms.

We were all in awe, even though some of it was probably wrong.
But he nailed all of Lay it Down.
