One thing freaks me out. I don't know why but it's ghost girls. Specifically white ghost girls, with long dark hair, in long, white period dress/a nightie/wedding dress. Chuck in them being soaking wet and I shit my pants in record time.

Seems a pretty random list of criteria yet every ghost film seems to feature them rather than men, redheads or the denim-clad: Amityville III, Gothika, The Ring, Dark Water, The Grudge, Ghost Story, A Stir of Echoes, even a bloody mobile phone TV ad (Phones 4 U):

But it really is effective, to have the long, dark hair conceal the dead, withdrawn
face.
"The Ring" used that in a masterful way.

Even "Pyewacket," the witch/demon was a long, dark haired woman, crawling quickly
on the floor.

Old recordings with white people singing. There is a popular Christmas song (can't remember) and when they sing it sounds spooky. Almost ghost like when its in unison. Anyway kind of hard to explain but they used to sing in that Mid Atlantic accent and it just came off spooky to me

Yeah, drivers fucking with their phones is a big trigger for me.

A few years ago, I was in stop and go traffic on the 405 freeway in Fountain Valley. I was in the fast lane and traffic was quickly grinding from wide open to a dead stop. I'm looking in my rear view mirror as I'm coming to a stop behind traffic and this idiot collage age girl literally has her phone up on her steering wheel in front of her face laughing and texting coming full speed right up behind me. I had no options to jump into another lane, all I could do was brace for impact and lay on the horn - she hit me doing about 50mph hard enough to knock me about 20 feet forward into the back of a large F150 in front of me. For whatever reasons, my crappy Elantra didn't get too badly fucked up, the F150 barely had a dent in the rear bumper but the texter's car was totaled. Luckily, no one was hurt but it could have been a lot worse.

I fucking hate driving texters.
