    Default VH 1975 Live

Fans bitchin about Diver Down having too many cover tunes.....

Listen up- They ain't cover tunes when VH play them....

They own it. Van Halenized to the max.

    Listen to TUSH from 1975....

EVH doesn't even play the same classic opening riff...

VH were their own roadies back then in the club days.

That's Dave? Kinda looks like Eddie.

Smart to wear coveralls ...I assume to protect the stage garb.

    Shit, you're right!

    Star Wars was '77?

    What was '75?

    Jaws, maybe.

Yep. Jaws. Which was the start of the "Summer blockbuster". Jaws is also one of my all time favs, and Robert Shaw as Quint is one of my all time favorite performances, so I'm sure i had a Jaws themed cake!

So weird to think Jaws hit in '75, so early...

It seems like 1978 or '79, i don't know why.

    Jaws in 1975 is crazy.

Absolutely nothing wrong with cover tunes.

I love VH's cover of La Grange.

What did they call it?.....Oh, yeah...Bottoms Up.

    Same.

Some guys on the radio were talking about his monologue about the Indianapolis sinking this morning. That's one of the all time great movie monologues. Maybe THE best.

"Jaws 2" came out in '78. The movie wasn't as good, but I loved the slogan: "Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water...."
