SAMMY & Mike in CLEVELAND!
Holy Crap. I wasn't expecting much. These guys just got back from Cabo and were ready to party. It was at a small Hard Rock outside of Cleveland. Sam's voice is fucking amazing. He hit most of the high notes and let Mike do the other ones. Mikey was in full party mode. The guy doesn't age and sounded bad ass! Tons of energy. The Zep, Montrose and Sammy songs were on fire and had the most energy. Finish What you Started was amazing as was a unique version of Right Now! The only clunkers in the set was Poundcake/When its love...they were tuned down and wierd. The rest of the songs were normal pitch. I thought the VH songs were the weakest. Couldve had a better selection. Ditch Poundcake and When it's love. Bring back Dreams and Top of the World, Summer Nights and 5150.
The LEVEE BREAKS was so epic, I couldn't believe it. Better than Zep played it and the best guitar playing I have ever heard out of Sam. Sam has gotten even better on guitar, so soulful. He played a LOT! I think he smoked Vic. Mikey even sang a verse. If Zep wanted a reunion and Plant wouldn't do it, Sam could with his eyes closed. He has become much more soulful.
I thought I was done with Sam, but he had new tricks and was a great time. His voice was amazing, and once again, loved the guitar.
If you are a rock fan and this doesn't move you, you are dead.
VH should give him a call. DLR can't hold a candle to him anymore, sadly. Wish DLR would tour and work on his voice and talent. He has lost so much...wasted talent

Sounds good, but have they changed the set list at all in the last 4 years?

Levee is one of the strongest songs from the Circle live. Might be their best performance.
But regarding the setlist, it's puzzling that with SO MANY Zep, VH, Montrose songs to choose from, they do the SAME songs over and over again.
