With Vic in The Circle and everything I was thinking today...so I get the dissolution of The Waboritas as a band started in 2004 and ended in 2010?

So, beginning as the touring band on the Marching to Mars tour that's 1997-2010? Pretty long run. Longer than Montrose obviously, his '70s band, his '80s band, VH, and Chickenfoot.

Harms left because of the VH reunion apparently and was gone on the mini 2005 tour with The Wabo's (featuring Los Tres Gusanos) but it was still a 4-piece. Then they added that John Daniel guy to play those weird secondary drums in '06 for the Livin' It Up/Other Half tour...then Mona was out after the mini-Aerosmith run in '10 because she wasn't playing on the Sammy Hagar & Friends tour in '13. Then in '14 The Circle started touring and that was it for Lauser.

Guess that's about right and they only join at the Birthday Bash now from time to time.

Haven't heard from bro since his wife passed. Maybe life has him going in another direction. Mona as well. Were either of them at Sam's B-Day Bash?

David Lauser is on Facebook. He posts occasionally. He and Mona got together back in June. In May he caught up with Sammy. I think he's trying to get a Wabos reunion going, but there doesn't seem to be much traction. I think his full-time gig is playing with the Greg Kihn Band.

Didn't Lauser's kid make a comment on social media about his Dad being excluded from Sammy's 70th bash?

I feel bad for both him and Mona being excluded but Sam has been all about collaboration over the last 10 years. Livin' It Up was the end of the Wabo's as Sam's focus. I saw them last in 2011 - one of the better Sam led shows I've seen.

I thought I saw both Dave and Mona in his 70th CWBB video/movie (saw it at a theater). Just for like 1 or 2 songs.

Here's an article from VHND 2009 about Sam focusing on CF. I think this is where I remember him saying he would always keep the Wabo's on the payroll. Things could have changed since then.
