Love all three tunes, but I gotta go with MWM. Everything about that tune just kicks all kinds of ass. The drums on the two BVO1 tracks have the very best studio recorded drums of the band's entire career. Just massive toms and kick drums to go along with the signature Alex snare. Ed's playing is obviously incredible, and the outro probably has his best use of the sustainer, and that pre solo section with the syncopation of the drums and guitar is vintage Ed and Al. Typically clever lyrics and turns of phrases by Dave to go with some of the greatest signature backing vocals that Mike ever put to tape.

Glen Ballard and Erwin Musper just did an outstanding job of producing and engineering MWM and CGTSNM.

    Humans Being, by a landslide.
But I did like the laid back feel in CGTSNM during the verses, and thought the choruses were neat, and Ed's solo kicked butt.

    Humans Being for me.

But I do like MWM a lot. I’ve been pretty vocal about never liking CGTSNM.

Always liked CGTSNM, fun little shuffle. Very slick solo by Ed and love the cowbell. The outro is one of those rare instances where you actually feel like you're sitting right next to Al in the studio. Just a great intimate, natural sound to the drums during the outro, especially his snare.

I would LOVE to get a full album with that kind of production for the band.

I prefer Me Wise Magic. I would have liked to hear that tune live.

Humans Being was a highlight on the ‘98 and ‘04 tours.

Its a little complicated for me... I love the intro to CGTSNM - I mean, its just fantastic. After that, its still cool, but doesnt keep my interest as much.

MWM - another great intro... band sounds great, great outro too... Dave was great, love the tune.

HB - a sort of pedestrian intro riff... but then the song rips... I like Sams vocal more than most. Band again sounds killer.

So - If you held a gun to my head, its MWM - because all of the ingredients are there that make up my favorite band.

Yes, I'm also one who loved the weird effect they did with Sam's vocal on HB. it fits the vibe of the music. It fits better than the sunshiny "shine on" part, IMO.

I was pretty excited after hearing snippets of Me Wise Magic on the Howard Stern Show and thinking that Dave was back in VH. Sigh ...
