Default Van Halen with Gmajor 2??

Does anyone have any suggestions on setting my Gmajor2 to have Ed's detune effect for LWAN, F.U.C.K, and Balance tones (three different settings I suspect)? I see a lot of pedals that provide that effect but I haven't really seen or read anywhere that has a great gmajor2 setting.

Hopefully, someone on here has that magical setting that can be shared.

I saw Jacob Deraps on youtube playing with the Balance tone and thought "how do I get that sound with a Gmajor 2" effect processor??" It's just awesome.

I can get pretty close with my pitchfactor. I'll come back to this thread with conversions for the G-Major.

Side note, for some reason, I think Jacob Deraps is just too agressive of a player for my tastes. I think he is a GREAT guitarist, however. Just a little much for me.

I run a Wet dry Wet rig using my 5150 III 50w head and 1X12 EVH cab as my power source and dry signal coming out of the effects send to 2 PV 5150 combos on each side with an Eventide Time factor sending a separate delay to each PV and also running the Boss PS6 Harmonist set to d tune and sending that effect to the PVs as well. This has given me the closest FUCK / Balance era sound I have ever heard and works perfect.

I will say this I just swapped out my PS6 Harmonist with the EVH 5150 chorus pedal and that actually works even better with the intensity knob set to about 10 o'clock and if you run this pedal stereo it freaking NAILS the Balance sound....

the trick to Eds sound back in the mid 90s (not 98 III tour because he stopped that sound in this tour) is to have a good harmonized chorus or a good d Tune effect in stereo with two separate delays going to each wet amp or cab.

Its taken me years to nail this sound with my gear.

    Rob

So you would recommend the EVH Chorus pedal Rob?

    Wow, that's good to know.
I just wish the pedal (and Ed's flanger) were Phase 90 sized!
