Superman: Man of Tomorrow (2020)

Clark's usual dependable canon is really put in the blender here and some stuff just seemed made up for the story.

I saw more plot holes than I could count but said fuck it and just enjoyed it all... but Parasite turning into basically Godzilla was just plain silly and I wished it would go in a different direction.

I liked the animation style, which at times reminded me of old school Johnny Quest.

I've been watching a lot of DC animated movies and shows since we got HBOplus. Most of them are really good, I haven't seen this one yet. I would highly recommend the Young Justice series...it's so well done when they get to the invasion arc.

This new Supe flick is on Prime for $2.99. Probably watch the new Deathstroke one tonight... same price.

All the Looney Tunes, some of the Godzilla and a fair helping of DC output. I'm happy with HBO Max so far. I like the little libraries like TCM and Some of the anime series in English like Inuyasha... Full Metal Alchemist. All my favorite shit so far is on my DVD shelf. lol

If you've never seen it Crisis on Two Worlds is a great animated DC flick.

Batman: HUSH

I really enjoyed this. The fight between Batman and Superman is done so much better in this animated flick than in Batman v Superman. My sons didn't like the ending because it's different than in the comics, but I wasn't restricted by prior knowledge.

Has a lot of DC characters in it. Batman, Superman, Catwoman, Knightwing, Poison Ivy, Bane, The Joker, The Riddler, Scarecrow and some visual appearances by Two Face, the Penguin and others during an "ass kicking" montage.

Amazing how much better DC animated movies are in comparison to their celluloid brethren.

PS - gotten to the point that if The Joker isn't voiced by Mark Hamill, it sounds off.

The pilot for the new Superman & Lois T.V. show was good. I liked the story, the actors were good, & great effects too. It is a bit odd seeing them with two teenage sons though. I will have to get used to that. I like the fact that they are moving back to the Kent farm to live though.

They got four seasons out of Lois and Clark (which I didn't think was any good) and ten out of Smallville.

Surprised at how well this was done and that I actually liked the concept. At first I cringed at the one twin being in therapy and such for his anxiety issues... but they acted so much like real brothers and Clark had so much doubt about his fathering... that it all kinda made sense.

Don't get me wrong... it's loaded with present day messages, but not a bad start for something from the CW.

Very cool to see an early Superman suit and it took about 10 seconds to figure out why the one boy was called Jordan... but when it all clicks... they might have something here.

Meanwhile... got half way through the new improved Batwoman first episode and had a very hard time finding the remote to turn it off through my rolling eyes and tears of laughter.

I need to check our Superman and Lois. I liked the characters in the crossover events.

Batwoman is just bad. I stopped watching halfway through season 1. I did watch the first episode of the current season but like you said, it was even worse.
