What is it with these people who embellish their life story on social media thinking that their lies will never be uncovered when they become socially prominent? These days you just can't claim that you were Miss Mississippi 1970 or the inventor of slime or ....oh I don't know...born in Mallorca and speak English as a second language?


We now have a new one. Mathew Cawthorne is 25 and the newly elected Representative from North Carolina. He has been outed for his lies about training for the paralympics of all things. Cawthorne who was the passenger in a car that crashed into a pylon in Daytona Beach shenanigans is paralyzed from the waist down and uses a wheelchair. Oh and he also bragged about vacationing at Hitler's favorite resort in 2017, referred to Hitler as Fuhrer, and he brags about being a real estate investor when his business which lists his home address as his business address owns exactly 1 piece of real estate...a 6 acre piece of land bought at a foreclosure auction for $20,000. And he attended 1 semester of college before dropping out with all "D's".

He was previously called out on his claims that he was headed to the Naval Academy before the accident but it was disclosed that before the accident he had already been rejected. He testified to this during a lawsuit regarding the accident. But that didn't stop him from referring to himself as "on his way to the Naval Acedemy" during his campaign and posting pictures on his website of himself in a Navy sweatshirt and working out with his "squad"

That is the resume that he ran on and he got elected. Ain't American great?

But now the paralympic community which is pretty small, is speaking out about his claims that he was training for the Paralympics including posting photos of himself at training sites and reporting on his work outs etc. His instagram was apparently considered an in joke among those world class athletes who shared his posts amused at how out of touch he was with the REAL Paralympic world. But now they are disturbed at having someone so extreme in beliefs representing himself as one of them but also because they feel he used them and has devalued the Paralympics by his misrepresentations

Despite his posting a count down of days til the event, he has NEVER participated in a competition let alone the trials for the team, is not registered with any affiliated team or organization and none of the bona fide Paralympic athletes have ever heard of him

Between his misrepresenting his education, business enterprises and Paralympic training, this guy has pretty much invented himself for a political career. He is basically just some uneducated 25 year old know nothing who got nominated to the Naval academy by Mark Meadows then later worked for as an assistant at Meadows district office.

It's just nuts.
