watched it last night, it didn't seem as scary to me. I still don't get the scene where they show some dude in a bear costume (or something like that) and he's blowing some other dude.....what in the FUCK was that supposed to mean, it just seems so random.

BTTB, thanks for sharing your thoughts! The Shining really is a confounding film and I'm sure that's exactly what Kubrick intended.
