Hey Journeyrocks-can't help but agree with your name...anyway, Sammy once said that an Amsterdamn is a big, fat joint. Of course, it's also about the city, and their liberal weed laws, but when he says, "roll an amsterdam," he's talking about a big joint. Also, the first stanza, like that other user said, is about hookers, which Eddie wanted the whole song to be about. In fact, this song was a big source of contention between Ed and Sam, because of the lyrics.
