Yes I do understand people being upset but you kind of have to realize what they said. They gave it back to the legislative branch of each state. In essence they removed federal power from the equation. I am sorry but if you give me a choice of greater or lessened federal power, I would choose the latter. Obviously with that comes some bad but its what you get with lessened federal power.

The Supreme Court, unlike the legislative branch isn't supposed to review laws and decide laws on favorability. Nor should they think "well what should we do?" Its against the Constitution. If something is inproperly applied well they should resolve. I know its an impactful decision. I get everything that comes with it. I get why people are upset but they also should understand the courts purpose. Its not to legislate from the bench. Every state has an opportunity to allow abortion as they see fit. If the legislative branch in each state doesn't adhere to the will of the people, then they will get voted out. I don't see why that is such a terrible thing.

I do find it a bit ironic that people on the left suddenly are practicioners of binary gender with a ruling like this.

They are talking about nationwide walkouts, abstaining from sex (oh the irony), etc.

Guess what? The Supreme Court took themselves out of the topic of abortion and said they didn't have the right to decide one way or the other. To make it even better, you don't have to protest justices or politicians, go sexless, etc. You get to VOTE about it. Imagine that?
Unfortunately, that concept is too difficult for many so people to understand.

I said the other day that condom makers profits are gonna skyrocket but I bet many Planned Parenthoods will go bankrupt now as well.

We could very well end up national legislation as well. While right now its at the state level, I can see how we could get to the point where a minimal allowance could happen at the federal level (in cases of rape and incest, before 12 weeks, etc.). It will be a situation similar to the federal minimum wage where some states go farther than others.
CNN may think my opinion matters, but you shouldn't.

I wouldn't have a problem with that to be honest even though I don't agree with abortion. Some is needed and I don't think heartbeat laws give enough time. However I also don't think you should be aborting 6 or 7th month fetuses unless in special circumstances

BTW for al you Pink fans who agree with decision or are pro-life, she says you can fuck off and not listen to her music

Sad day.....first Billy Joe and now Pink.

At some point, I believe they will stretch the 14th Amendment to include babies in the womb.

Morning-after pill retailers are seeing an increase in sales already.

They'll all cash in until the religious lawmakers decide to ban contraception.

    How can they?

I heard that people who get abortions can't afford birth control. I jest. I do laught at the companies proclaiming "We will cover your costs to get your abortion" They are puffing their chests out like they are doing this great thing. Deserve a nomination for Virtue Signaling of the year award. You know why they saying this? Well they don't wnat their employees going on maternity leave. Flying a person out and putting them in a room is far cheaper than paying a person 12 weeks of their salary

If the right starts banning contraception they will go down in a flaming heap. That would be political suicide. Same with the right gutting social security and medicare. Suicide
