    No Beatles? Whoa.

It does the heart good to see so many peeps not only including Fair Warning, but it's always first.

My top five albums of all time? Probably too hard to even attempt that, but if I limit it to classic rock ONLY..?

    Van Halen Fair Warning
    Rush Signals
    The Police Synchronicity
    Led Zeppelin Physical Graffiti
    The Doors (debut)
you don't have to do classic rock only, anything you want !!

It's hard for me to choose Synchronicity over Outlandos. Synchronicity simply has more coming of age sentimentality with it. If I were to remove the personal attachment, I'd have to go with the debut. Ghost is so good too.

Heck, I'm of the opinion that the Police are one of the few outfits who never made a bad album. They only have five, granted, but all five are so stellar in their own rights.

And further, I think Certifiable is one of the best live albums ever. Criminally underrated.
IMO, Ghost In The Machine is the Police's best album.

I think all the Police's albums are their best album.

Ghost is a classic example of a successful stellar departure from form.

Well...okay, Zenyatta might be the weakest link, if I'm pressed.

Even their two live albums are EPICCCCCC...........

Yep. Limiting it to 5 was really tough. Right after I posted my list, I thought of a bunch of others I easily could have included.

If I shaded the criteria according to my current state of life preferences and airs....since I am in a radically different era of musical preference and groovtasty-ness, only Fair Warning would probably make the cut.

So, would we see more stuff like Earth Wind and Fire, Kool & The Gang and Chaka Khan?

Here are five, but it's a fungible list:

RATT -- Out of the Cellar
    Night Ranger -- Midnight Madness
Beatles -- Abbey Road (Only for side 2, but this isn't a list of favorite sides)
    Van Halen -- 1984
Sandi Patty -- Songs from the Heart (I'm not of faith, but I love this record)
Elton John -- Too Low for Zero

My top 5 if stranded on a desert island would differ. There would be no Van Halen, for example, because I can just replay that in my head at will.

Ah, Night Ranger. I played the shit out of Dawn Patrol when it dropped. Still a pretty tasty dueling solo in Don't Tell MeYou Love Me.

Don't Tell Me You Love Me, Sing Me Away and Night Ranger are all great tunes from Dawn Patrol.

    Brave call buddy.

The title track and Cold as Christmas are stand outs.
