We don’t ever question whether or not a politician cares or not, the average person just assumes they don’t , they’re just forging a policy that is necessary for a society.

A good economy for example, is good for all in a functioning society. You can’t have that without the lower and middle class in a capitalist system. So when a politician creates policy that is beneficial to an economy, only a moron would think it’s out of love.


So anyone stating that it’s funny that people believe he does is just trolling.

I don’t care if any politician’s rhetoric matches their true feelings, just do the job.

College is where kids should go to learn how to think, not what to think. Too many professors either don't understand this or simply disagree.

There are too many in academia who take that path, I agree. I had a couple of professors like that in graduate school, one liberal and one conservative. Both were off-putting. I challenged both of them in class. Looking back, that could have been bold or stupid. I got lucky in both cases.

I love playing devil's advocate with my students. I like to challenge those who seem certain about their positions and values. My favorite students of all time have been those with whom I've disagreed. They didn't always know that I disagreed, and the ones who did never knew the depths to which we disagreed. I encourage my students to challenge what they think they know and believe, and I ask them to carry that throughout their lives.

He's forgotten more about the Constitution than most people will ever know, but he lost the plot and became a talking head too.

I can remember him gushing over Mitt Romney and one point in his career, and now he can't throw him under the bus fast enough. All these guys know where their bread is buttered.
