There are way more reasons to want her gone than to want her to stay. A POS politician got the boot. That's the bottomline.

I'm just glad she got the boot. Hopefully they can find some way to get rid of Romney also.

No Trump in 2024, and many neocons getting the boot. It sounds pretty good to me if it plays out that way.

    You didn’t answer my question.

If she wasn’t a POS politician, you’d have a problem with it? You’d have a problem with her getting outed because she didn’t go along with the lie that the last President didn’t actually lose.

So, the end justifies the means? Regardless of the means?

So, if the GOP suddenly was supportive of bringing back lynching or pushing Holocaust denial and Romney was against it, you’d be fine with them outing him from the party?

She has lost the support of the people that she was elected to serve and so she has now lost governmental power. That's what should happen when you lose the confidence of the people that elected you in the first place.

Even putting my personal dislike of her aside, why should she still be there if the people that elected her don't want her in the position?

Your hypothetical question has you comparing a party booting out a party member over him disagreeing with murder to that of a party booting out a member because she lost the confidence of her voters who she is elected to serve.

It's not a reasonable hypothetical question.

Nor is the second one.... The Republican party are heavy supporters of Israel. So much that they want our government to be a lackey basically.

But the party would get destroyed in elections for who knows how long if these things happened.

As for Trump questioning the elections... People act like this is the first time politicians have questioned elections.... Half the country was saying for 4 years that the guy that was elected wasn't really elected... The 2000 election was questioned... State elections are questioned every election cycle.

Losers tend to be bitter about losing and therefore these things happen. Both Republicans and Democrats are guilty of this.

They weren’t comparisons. Make it about whatever bullshit fantasy you want.

A Congresswoman was ousted because she didn’t go along with the lie that the President won the last Election. It had nothing to do with her record and her support. If she had come out and said, “I believe Trump won the Election”, she’d still have her job.

Al Gore conceded and never said another word about the Election in 2000 (and the margin was a lot closer in 2000 than it was in 2020). I also don’t recall the Democrats pushing a lie that Bush didn’t actually win and going so far as to remove anybody from Congress because they didn’t go along with it.

You’re just making excuses for it simply because you don’t like her.

The end justifies any means, to you. And that’s your prerogative. Just don’t expect people to not see through the bullshit.

Yup. Because clearly the Canadians know what’s best for America politically. Yet they still out the queen on coins.

Mitch just gets off on sparring with Trump supporters who are very rare on this site, at least publicly. Shit, anybody that even defends Trump in the slightest Mitch can't let that slide.

He loves the sound of his own voice and I bet he re reads his responses and pats himself on the back. It's like when I vacuum and see the floor and it looks great. Sense of satisfaction.

It's his favorite thread. He'd leave if this thread got closed. He would.

But he advocates for it's closure. Nothing better than someone who usually starts the shit and sits back and agrees with the mods when they break out the hammers.

But enough of that. Trump is a terrible human who sits on his hands in times of national trauma.

Let's just make this a total Trump bash fest . Mitch, DD, and a few others can swing from the rafters with disdain.

Eventually theyll get tired and need their binkies for a nap. That's after plenty of hugs assuring everything will be alright.

Milk and cookies waiting for them when they get up.
