Just don't be a douche and hold it up high blocking other people's view

Or better yet, turn off the fucking phone and enjoy the LIVE show with your eyes and not a 5 inch screen

Yes, follow proper concert etiquette all around.

On that same note, please don't film with an iPad. I am baffled when I see people doing this. First, you're blocking a ton of people's view. Second, the same generation iPhone's camera is always better than the iPad. Bigger screen ≠ better image. This one irks me a lot, but thankfully I don't see it as often at concerts, it's mostly parents at elementary school events.

I'm going to watch the show. No filming. Plain, clean and simple.

Also, if your camera has a setting to do so turn your white balance down otherwise everyone's face will be washed out. Great advice from Fletch today on facebook. The same also goes for shooting still shots. You'll get crisper looking photos by turning it down.

    Great point, sickman.

Also, once it gets dark don't bother with flash. All you'll do is blind your concert neighbors and light up the peoples heads in front of you. All the light you need is coming directly from the stage.

Flash is unnecessary almost 100% of the time.

I don't understand. So you're just going to sit there?

I plan on doing the same thing. Although I'll be enjoying some beers and jamming out on my air guitar.

Recording a show is a pain. When I did the two free shows in 2012 I videoed virtually everything so you guys could at least feel like you were there plus I was like two feet away both times, how could I not. But it does take away from enjoying a show.

So true Brett, it is a pain in the ass. I filmed Vegas, LA & PHX in 2012, & it is quite difficult to try & stand still & hold the camera for two hours straight. Plus, you spend most of the show watching the screen to make sure you have a good shot. The kick ass part though is watching my PHX blu ray shot from the 5th row on my big screen any time I want, love it. That being said, I have 3rd row for San Bernadino, hoping to film the whole show, assuming I get the camera in ok.
