In love with this new album. I haven’t felt that way about a new Sammy album since the CF debut. “Pump it up” the only downer.

If it weren't for "No Worries" and "Affirmation," I'd agree on the last part. Still better though.

Right now, there's a number of recent talk on YouTube criticizing celebrity tequila brands (mostly Kendall Jenner's), saying how a lot of notable celebrities are hopping on a train of this because it's trendy, how it's creating a strain on Mexico's agave farmers (not enough supply to meet demand with these brands), and in Kendall's case, mistreatment and not understanding what makes tequila true tequila.

Of course, these are only about recent brands that popped up in the last few years. There's no mention of Sammy's Cabo Wabo brand being the first, or being done all the way back in the mid-2000s.

Fair to say that Sammy got in ahead of them, and he's the best such brand by virtue of the fact that he lives in Cabo and is personally involved in many decisions regarding the brand, including the agave fields, and has a genuine respect for it all.

Sammy doesn’t own the tequila company any more. He has a rum company.

I love Pump it Up...To each his own I guess

Howard Stern was talking about this on his show. He said he got an email from a disc jockey friend in Cincinnati who said Sammy had emailed him and asked him to get Stern to talk about the new album and Howard wondered why Sam didn't just contact him directly. So either someone at the show dropped the ball or is ghosting Sam, cause it was a weird back door way of getting to Stern and he was confused about it

Anyway he said if Sam went to so much trouble it must mean he is pretty proud of it, so Howard listened and loved it, saying he listened to it while painting and listened thru twice. So he was playing snippets and it intrigued me so I streamed it and I have to say, I don't remember liking Sams stuff this much in a long time.
