I'm very sad to hear about the passing of my dear friend David Lauser's wife, Liza. I've known only a few people in my life who have had to go through a heartbreaking ordeal in their lives with this level of dedication/devotion.

Even when it looked like there was no hope they both kept the faith and the fight. God has and will bless them both I'm sure. Sammy and family.

That's the song a buddy of mine played for me first time I ever heard Ronnie. I was in the 11th grade. The whole Montrose thing never got FM status in my area (Baltimore)
they were pretty underground.

easily the best song off of Paper Money. Connection is a great, great cover song-I didn't get it until a few years ago now, it's one of my favorite covers of all time. I Got The Fire is just kick ass from the first second until the end, I listen to it all the time.

I was hoping Sam would play it with Montrose when they did that mini reunion a few years back but they mostly stuck to the first record.

I think that album brings back bad memories for Sam as the band was having problems and he got fired at the end of the tour. It’s similar to the fact that Balance seems to be ignored by Sam as well.

I love both Montrose albums. The first one is classic. The second one is close to classic.
"Spaceage sacrifice" is my fave. It has some incredible lyrics.
I love the line "To make way for the new, the old had to die".

We were honored to play a part in their downtown revitalization program and are proud of what we’ve achieved together including raising more than $15 thousand dollars for the Placer Food Bank from our free outdoor concert and events.

I’m very grateful to our staff, family and friends who have supported us. It’s been a great ride.

Is any of this a big deal? Maybe not, but kudos to Sam for understanding social media and getting all of the information to his fans. Sam could manage Van Halen. Maybe that could be worked out. Of course, Dave probably could too, if he was allowed to do his thing.
