They already had plans to give Dusty some time off and tour with their guitar tech on bass. This might change that or do a one last tour. I'm sure they will make an announcement.

The Who since Entwistle passed, has been hit or miss. Saw them in 2016 and they brought it. Saw them in Houston in 2018, and Roger couldn’t finish the show…six songs in and they were done.

Also the Bass runs in My Generation have never sounded right since Entwistle.

I canít find any information he had cocaine and Xanax, but find lots of information he had fentanyl, oxycodone, temazepam, alprazolam, citalopram, acetyl fentanyl and despropionyl fentanyl, in order to get through the tour with a broken hip.

Yep. Not sure what time of tour commitments they have but as soon as possible, they need to call it the end. Frank can join the BFGs or whatever but ZZ Top has been around too long to start taking in subs

The drums in ANY Who song have not sounded right since Moon died. It wasn't the Who without him, and it definitely isn't without both he and the Ox. It would be like Van Halen without Al behind the kit.

I stand corrected on the Xanax, but this isnít the point I was making.

Petty was taking a bunch of things in order to make it through a tour on a broken hip. Drug overdoses are almost always multi-drug intoxication, so he was doing so on top of other things he was taking, like you point out, Xanax.

My point was that I really hope this isnít the same sort of thing, since heíd just decided to sit out over it.

I don't know if it was that he was taking all that to get thru a hip injury or that his addictions had just reared their ugly head again. He miraculously survived a weird midlife crisis heroin addiction in the 90's

A lifetime of living in an album cycle...write it, record it, tour. to support it. Over and over and over again. I don't know how you can live like that. You step away from your personal life for huge chunks and come back to find that that your personal life went on without you. Kids grew up, friends became distant, lovers and wives change and grow in different directions

I don't know how you get thru that . The physical pain from the wear and tear on a body that has not been taken care of is one thing, but Petty had more pain than just that.

It's their band obviously, but as a fan, I don't like it.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

A man's rights rests in three boxes: the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!
