very beautiful. probably shouldn't say the scene i remember most is a scene in some teen movie where she was getting put into the headboard.

    Rest in Peace, Ms. Preston.

Terrible news about Kelly Preston. Tragic really, she had a 9 year old son. There is never good age to lose your mother, You hope it's when you are middle aged at least. But 9.... What a terrible thing to happen to that kid.

So many advances in cancer treatment. Wonder why hers was so unstoppable? Maybe it went unnoticed or maybe she was afraid to see a MD? There are so many types of individual cancers some are so aggressive treatment is futile.

Travolta was in a relationship with an older actress, Diana Hyland in the 1970's... who also died from breast cancer. Poor guy.

My sister was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at 43, and we lost her at 45.

She was at MGH, one of the greatest Hospitals in the damn country, but when that shit decides
    to spread.....

She had two young children, one of whom has been dealing with severe depression as
    a repercussion.

I wonder if Scientology had anything to do with it. Iíve heard their medical practices and their beliefs are not very trusting of science.

Sammy Hagar did the probable. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.

This happened ten years ago, not to diminish the impact, but i just wanted you
guys to know it wasn't recent.

But she had great doctors/experts, and when they went one way, the cancer went
    the opposite way.

It was like it had an evil brain:
Oh yeah, try and catch me now!

I truly believe my sister's death pushed my mom straight into Alzheimer's.

Losing her, profoundly destroyed my mom.
It blindsided us all, as we had no cancer in the family.

And i truly think the issues i'm dealing with now, rampant anxiety & depression, are
delayed reactions to those two family traumas.

I was very close to both of them, but i was so strong when it all went down, like
i was observing from outside my body.

But i had a feeling it would catch up with me, down the road.
