Big fan of Norm MacDonald. Loved his sense of humor.

He was funny in all of his TV shows and movies but I think I will remember him most for his goodbye speech to Letterman. Something very touching about what he said... I think about that a lot, for some reason...

    RIP Norm.

His speech to Dave was about as classy and heartfelt as one man could be towards another.

Norm was one of the great ones....A true comicís comic. They all thought he was the funniest man alive.

    So sad....

This hurts. Norm is my favorite comic.

His appearances on Conan O'Brien are fucking legendary.

He was one of the unique comics. Some guys simply use the cookie cutter observational humor. Add swear words, etc. Norm was simply unique.

I also can't believe Bob Dole is still alive. He tweeted RIP to Norm and it made me remember the SNL sketch where Norm as Bob was on MTV's Real World. Also loved the Moth joke he did on Conan. He was like the Honey Badger. Didn't give any shits

    RIP

all this stuff you guys are referencing seems so long ago, and yet he was only 61. Can't remember the last time I saw him - probably on "Weekend Update". But I do recall him being very clever. Rest in Peace, Mr. Macdonald

I encourage anybody to look up his appearances on Stern when Artie was still on the show.

Some of the funniest storytelling you will ever hear.

Iím all honesty, the show really took a shit once Artie left. Itís really not the same. Itís become political instead of a getaway. And Artie really worked well with Howard. Heís boring on his own. All robin is is his Ed McMahon.

I heard something mentioned like Joe Rogan has dethroned Stern. I don't listen to either regularity so not sure how true that might be.

Pretty much after Artie left Stern slowly began changing his format to centre solely around interviews.

Have you seen that staff meeting he had in 2013?? Itís on YouTube. Heís basically talking about how they need to attract A-listers every week for interviews.

Sal and Richard were at their best during their first 5 years of being on the show, IMO. I want to say that Win Johnís Job was in 04í?

But once they got to Sirius, it was arguably the greatest show in the history of entertainment until Artie left.
