I've heard that title came from a surfing term, and a comeback to Eat 'em and Smile. Which one is it? Anybody got a clue?

I heard the Eat 'em and Smile / "Oh You Ate One Too?" theory and also something about an OU812 license plate in a Cheech & Chong movie.
But who knows?

for all intents and purposes, it could be both. i think the reason they perhaps chose it was from the eat em and smile album, but they decided to word it that way because of the cheech and chong movie.
