Columbo! Thank you, that was driving me nuts who she sounds like. That's it. It's a pretty fun show, I like how they show the crime first and then go back and show where she was actually there or in the vicinity for it. The "hit" new rock song had me fooled - I didn't make the connection and thought it was actually pretty catchy!

Let the Right One In (Showtime)

The 2008 Swedish original and the 2010 English adaption Let Me In are both exceptional films.

This attempt at a TV series not so much. There is some bad writing creating huge plot holes concerning all the characters and their coincidental relationships and actions towards each other.

Only ten episodes and the series has already been cancelled, but I need to stick with it to see if there is a reason the father and daughter moved right next door to the detective investigating the recent murders across the city and if the father also knows he killed the detectives ex and dad of the daughters recent new best friend during a random drug deal/stalking.

If there is no reason for all of that happening in the first episode... the writing is just sloppy and plot holes unforgivable.

The Last of Us

Finally started this. Absolutely loved the opening of Ep 1. I guess it was the introduction to the main story--never played the video game. Then came the "Twenty Years Later" announcement and we were thrust into the story.
So far so good.

Your mileage will most definitely vary, but for me it made me want to stick with the series since there were no fungus heads just running around all willy nilly. It simply focused on what it means to be human... no matter who can't accept that.

Whatever. I know how some people are, I really don't care about them either way.
