Watched a few of the new episodes of Black Mirror. First one depressing (with Rashida Jones) but likely will be true in the future. The sequel to the USS Callister was good.
Like mind trips.

I cannot watch that show. It freaks me out worse than even the creepiest Twilight Zone episodes
I may have mentioned this show before but I am watching it again It is a show from 2012 ... Derek on Netflix. It is a Ricky Gervais production where he plays Derek a rather simple man who works in an old age care home with Hannah, played by the wonderful Kerri Godliman who seems to be a favorite actress of Gervais, working with her also on his show After life.
Derek is an oddball, but an oddball with a beautiful gentle soul. This show is so much about kindness and acceptance and tolerance and self worth that I think it has an important message for today.
You will laugh, but you will also cry and outright squirm particularly at the character Kev who is a drunken, gross, sexual pervert who also hangs out with his friends at the care home.
It is a pretty unique character played by David Earl who also appears with Gervais in After life. He somehow is able to bring humanity to a character who would other wise be repulsive.
But on this second watch I was surprised again by Brent Goldstein who plays the grandson of one of the care home residents. He falls in love with Hannah the care home manager. He could not be more different from the over confident Roy Kent. His acting here is subtle and moving.
The whole show is wonderful in my opinion. Give it a try.

Black Mirror is freaky but that's what why I like it. It's a combo of Twilight Zone and X-Files. Even the music is pretty cool. The way society has been going I wouldn't doubt this will be our future!

You kind of have to pick and choose the Black Mirror episodes. Like anything else, some are better than others. While most end on a negative note, some like San Juniper are uplifting.
I also like how they will use name actors too.
Oh I am digging that show on Apple with Jon Hamm "Your Friends and Neighbors." Decent enough.
The Studio is reminding me of why I dislike Seth Rogan. Just annoying

Watched the second episode of the new season of The Last of Us last night, gotta admit it was pretty good. I am amazed at how much I liked Bella Ramsey in Game of Thrones and how much I despise her in this show haha.
Pain or damage don’t end the world, or despair, or fuckin’ beatings. The world ends when you’re dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man — and give some back.
