It was like Karate Kid, but with Robert Johnson as Miyagi.

I loved the guy who played the devil:

YOU GOT WHAT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO GET, BLIND BOY.....(sweetly) besides, that's
no reason to go back on a deal....

Steve Vai is such a new agey guru kinda guitar wizard, but in that movie,
he just looked so menacing and vicious.

Yes while I enjoyed the season, I did find the overtones to be not subtle at all. It was so overbearing with law an order, etc that you know who they were demonizing. Its just amazing that its likely half the country are composed of racist Nazi's. I will watch Season 3 though. I just enjoy it even with the stereotypes.

This is not what I thought it would be from the previews I saw... and that's good.

I'm intrigued with where it's all headed, with the subtle sinister clues in Ep. 1 that intensified with Ep. 2.

I'm pretty sure that this is not going to end like it began... a perky little cold war era sit-com.

I don't think so, they are moving forward by decade it seemed to me.

First episode was I Love Lucy in the 1950's. Second episode was "Bewitched" in the 60's. Maybe next week will be "The Brady Bunch"?

Olsen said there was going to be an homage to "Full House" in the series, I wonder if that will be the 1980's setting (if the trend continues).

I didn't love it, but I found it interesting. And I like me some Wanda, especially in her 1950's get up.

Paramount Plus set to launch on March 4

CBS All Access will be saying good-bye on March 4 as it is replaced by Paramount Plus.

Viacom announced last Sept. that it would be relaunching CBS All Access as Paramount Plus. On Tuesday the company finally revealed when the change will take place and it is set to happen on March 4.

The launch will take place in the United States, Canada, and Latin America on the same day. The Nordics will see it three weeks later on March 25, and Australia is targeted for mid-2021.

ViacomCBS will hold a presentation on Feb. 24 to announce all of the final plans for the launch as well as upcoming changes for Pluto TV and Showtime.

As is understood for now, Paramount Plus will continue with all of the content currently on CBS All Access and will expand with more catalog content from both television and films from Paramount.
