    Great show.
Not to be watched if you can't take huge emotions on display. But pretty much every character is so well written an so unique to television. This is something you don't often see on TV. The kind of real middle america that does not fit the mold.

I am really digging The Penguin. I am not a Superhero guy. Never read a comic, I only have watched a few men in tights movies but really like this. I guess since its more of a gangster show than anything else. I am quite sure that Colin will win an Emmy for this.

Tulsa King went out with a bang. Left some for S3.

From S3 was pretty good. Still don't know WTF is going on but I still love me shows that make me think. Now onto Teacup

    Frasier 2.0 S2

All caught up. This series is watchable and might supply 1 maybe 2 laughs an episode but it's still pretty much a bust.

Patricia Heaton's new character has only been in 2 episodes and is a complete waste. Nothing special happening with her at all. Was hoping for a foil to Fraiser's snootiness but she's a fucking bartender- love interest. Ugh!

The writers, who seem to be from the Three's Company school of absurd misunderstandings are giving even more time to the wet noodle, constantly grimacing Freddy and unfunny, boring Olivia and it's just bad characters, bad TV. Eve is still just a waste of space and should have been cut last season.

I keep watching but am disappointed at every turn.

I've been seeing these ridiculous promos of Yellowstone lately and it's been getting on my nerves. I've never seen the series but in every commercial Kelly Reilly looks like shit. Like she just got gang-banged. Does she mouth off or something to get beaten in every episode?

well, she did take a pretty good beating in one episode and was in an explosion in another, so she's got scars that I reckon are never going to heal. My big concern is that the new episodes are on something called the Paramount network which is not the same thing as Paramount+ (and I watched all previous episodes on Peacock+ anyway), so i might have invested all this time and now not be able to see how it plays out...

Not a superhero guy either, but I too liked The Penguin. Just watched the finale of S1 last night. Yeah, it's more of a gangster show. Farrell did a great job, and that makeup was really well done.

When "superhero" shows/movies are done right, I can tolerate them. This wasn't necessarily a superhero show, but in the same genre. I watched The Batman film before watching this show. I think superhero films, when done right, are decent. I liked Nolan's trilogy and The Batman was good, although very dark. The bright, shiny Marvel films don't do it for me.

I watched The Batman last night (after watching the season finale of Penguin) and I liked it. A bit too long but it was dark and I can get with that. Marvel is just like watching a Teletubbies episode. Bright, loud and laughing.

Will watch the Sequel now and if Penguin gets another season.

Bill, thank you for sharing your thoughts. Kelly is hot, even beat all to hell! I'm sure you can find the streaming version of the series online.

Watching World's Most Unexplained on Travel Channel

One segment is about the horrible DC-10 crash that happened in Chicago in 1979. I still remember it. Me and my family saw the smoke of the crash in the distance towards O'Hare airport and knew something bad had happened. We all had a terrible feeling of doom but little did we know that 273 folks had just been killed. It's still very haunting to me and makes me weary any time I have to fly...

Shit, I just saw on that program that the Bionic Woman Lindsay Wagner was supposed to be on that flight but chose not to take it. Talk about incredibly lucky! I wonder how many of us have also avoided flights of doom...

Mark Wahlberg has talked about how he was supposed to be on one of the 9/11 planes. That was an infamous interview because he said that if he had been on the plan he could have stopped the hijacking. What a dolt. and of course Waylon Jennings famously got kicked off the flight that killed the Big Bopper and Richie Valens. Elizabeth Taylor was supposed to be traveling with her husband on the plane that crashed killing Mike Todd. The Nelson Twins were supposed to be traveling with their father Rick Nelson on that last leg of his tour, but Rick changed his mind and asked them to fly a commerical flight straight to Dallas.

Dude, you watch way too much doom and gloom. Apocalypse end times shit. Your own personal demons (not knocking it btw, I have my own) but fuck...you need to go outside, go to the park and watch children laughing and playing.

Your lady needs to slap the shit out of you. Seriously.

Find some joy and report back.

Chris, you're right my friend! I've always been misanthropic but lately I'm becoming nihilistic as well. I used to take Zoloft for depression and it worked but haven't done it in years. Maybe I should start again. I definitely do need a reboot!
