I watched a season of the office and it was good but I just couldn't get into it for the long haul. Its weird about Seinfeld. I didn't watch it back in the day. However I love its crack head child of Its Always Sunny and now can watch it. That said I don't go searching for it either but if its on I will leave it on. Its a great show. I just can't put the time in.

All in the Family is so good and its amazing how it still depicts our culture today. First episode, Meathead is the stay at home college student. Fighting for the rights of the poor. Archie is bitching cause Meathead won't get a job and is a freeloader with entitlements. Archie says insenstive things without realizing he is doing so. There is division in the house. Its really a mirror image of today yet was filmed almost 50 years ago. Its amazing how mcuh things change, they stay the same but it shows you how well written that show was when it still hits home 50 years later

I never could get into Seinfeld much. That guitar between every scene got too annoying too quickly.

I just don't like neurotic humor. The few clips I saw of Seinfeld I couldn't watch a whole episode of Jason Alexander.

Also, there's always that one dude at work who has to quote an episode of Seinfeld for every issue that arises.

James was an angry man. I remember watching this episode and thinking how it would play out in 2021…

I remember one time their bedroom door was closed (always closed when it was time for the belt ) and my brother got It from both my mom and my dad. Both had a belt too.

Wow! Dual strappers! Thinking back, I feel bad for dad because he was the only one who disciplined us physically and 99% of the time it was in regards to my mother… “wait until your father gets home!” Get home from work, whip your kid and then eat.

It was always my mom though. The one and only time I got it from my dad was when he tried to discipline me but I didn't cry and he was like "oh, you ain't gonna cry tough guy...."

My dad delivered the ass whoopings, usually with whatever farm tool was close at hand, if none were available, his steel toed boots could deliver a pretty painful kick in the ass.

I liked Seinfeld when it was on, and a few episodes still stand out ("The Contest," "The Marine Biologist). But I don't think it's as much of a classic as others do.

Now, Cheers, that's a classic IMO. I'll never get tired of that one.

Okay so I will admit I was wrong about the Dexter revival. The first episode made it seem like we were falling into familiar territory, but it has gone in a different direction and has been exciting to watch.

S2 Pt 2 is on. Such a unique series. There is a slight shift in tone and we are getting some background info on the parents. Also Mia's new stoner boyfriend just seems to be dating her to score some of her ADD meds.
