Fox has lost many viewers, enough for a restructure.

As I was saying... the first one to offer up something other than all politics - all the time... might find some ratings success.

What would be refreshing is if one of the major players made a decision to simply be unbiased. Allow civil discussion from left and right moderators. Simply call it Adult News. Ask real questions to politicians instead of throwing them red meat. Have civil debates

I think it could work. You have the polarization with the left and right which is being directed to CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS< etc/ There is a group in the middle that probably would want to watch a news program that reminds them of CNN in the 90's. Maybe include libertarians to offer their insight.

Yeah I know that has a snowballs chance in hell to be put in motion.

Yes the last episode of Cobra Kai was almost as good as the last episode of the Mandolorian. Well maybe not but still was a great episode.

One funny thing my wife noticed is that we all know Johnny is computer illiterate. Yet in the episode where Miguel's mom comes over you see an Alexa or Google device on his end table. Yeah can see Johnny saying "Alexa can you play music by RATT"

This was an interesting one for me. The show was really well done--written well, acted well, directed well. But, for me, the overall storyline didn't do much for me. I was curious because of the hype surrounding the show. And, after watching, I don't understand what all the hype was about. And I like chess.

No matter what news channel you tune into anymore (and for quite some time now) it's just wall to wall political coverage or political based. Maybe the first one to break free of that and offer up some diversity might find rating success they never bargained for.

I hope that what we will see in the coming months is a real overhaul of some of our news providers and a return to real journalism where the guidepost isn't just getting it "first" but getting it right. And if you get it right, it will be fair.

Maybe the boomerang from the Trump administration lies will be a movement to truth.

When I look at today news channels, I'm always reminded of those halcyon days when things like John F. Kennedy Jr's. plane crash was the only story 24/7 for days upon days... and nothing else mattered... no other story was big enough. Today... it seems that nothing can break the political bubble.

It's not like these networks don't know when people tune in. If it's becoming increasingly biased and political, it's very likely it's because they have analytics telling them that's when people are watching.

I think the best thing to do would be to subscribe to your local paper, and then subscribe to a major paper that tends to lean conservative and a major paper that tends to lean liberal, and just turn off the cable news entirely.

I also subscribe to Reason Magazine and not just because it is libertarian. First, they are open about their bias. Second, they link to what they are talking about on their website. Third, they have their writers tell who they voted for in the election cycle. I find that if I am having a hard time reconciling between other sources, Reason brings some clarity because I can take their bias into account AND they don't have a dog in the fight, neither pro-Blue nor pro-Red.

I stopped watching cable news about 5 years ago and I don't miss it.

I used to watch MSNBC, but they became a mouthpiece for the DNC and I don't bother.

Can't watch any of them, I try to get a blend of the truth from different print media, and even then I'm not confident on what I am being told.
