Still can't say enough good things about Shameless. We're in S2 right now

Shameless (U.S. version) is in my top 5 of all time TV shows. Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and surprisingly to some is Prison Break are also in my top 5.
    Just go for it!

New characters Firecracker and Sage are killing me. Lol! I'm starting to think there is some sarcastic political commentary hidden in the writing of this series. Haha!

Just when I thought Homelander had jumped the shark in S3, they punched it up and made him fresh again. The writing is so good.

Mothers Milk lost weight or something. There were times when I thought they replaced the actor... but it still the same guy.

    Spoiler!!!

I was really digging Frenchie and Kimiko's relationship story last season, so that really took an odd turn. Did I miss something about that Frenchie guy the first two seasons? Such a likeable character with so much tragic baggage.

The new Black Noir... funny shit!
Thank you. I was wondering if the political commentary I was watching was a play on MAGA and Conservatives. I figured I was just seeing things but thanks for confirming. I know its very subtle and hard to miss. Usually I am too obtuse to catch things like that. I also thought that Starlight is maybe a play on Tay Tay but not 100% sure on that.

In truth watched two episodes and still like it even though its as subtle as Yoko Ono. I actually laughed at the Human Centipede scene. Homelander is by far the best character on the show. I know he is the dick, evil, etc but you need an antagonist. IMO he is elements of Walter White and Heisenberg. While he is full Heisenberg I do think deep down there is a good guy in there.

We've been watching Wentworth for the last couple of weeks. That's hopped into my top 5.
Sammy did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.

I only really got interested in it after learning that Jeremy Allen White from The Bear was in it. I agree, the kids do make the show to some degree

Hitler and the Nazis. Evil On Trial.

A couple of things caught my attention. How does transgenderism make it's way into something like this? Context about the Nazis killing undesirables. Pioneering doctor of transgenderism. Whatever. But a couple of times mentioned, "Make Germany Great Again." The funny one was talking about Hitlers Bavarian mountain retreat and the person talking saying it was his Mar-A-Lago....

Very good series. I think I've watched it 4 or 5 times already.

This reminds me that I've been wanting to say that The Conner's during it run has had a lot of guest stars from The Shameless and The Righteous Gemstones crews.

I remember the UK series was really, really good. Started watching the US version on Netflix mail DVD's many years ago but never kept up with it.

Yeah they made sure they got you to go "Hiter........Trump.....Same"

I mean its on Netflix so you know its going to be slanted but if you are trying to make a documentary or an educational series just use the facts. I get that Trump isn't everybody's favorite but can't we just watch a show about Hitler without this stuff creeping in.

Season 3 of Shoresy is out. Maybe you have to love hockey to love this show, but I think it crosses those boundaries

Jared Keeso has developed into an excellent writer. And as an actor, he has taken the annoying, petulant, childish Shoresy and given him depth and humor.

This season is another one of those short 6 episode runs that leaves you wanting more, but that is a good thing as opposed to the 22 episode seasons that pad the episodes to stretch them out.

This season is a life changer for Shoresy. After a first losing season where management wanted to shutter the team and Shoresy promising to re tool it to make it so they "never lose again", we gpt a triumphant second season where they never did lose again and won the "No Show" on a winning streak that made them the best team in the league ever winning their bid to host the national senior championships

Now in the third season they face the best senior hockey teams in the country but the toll that winning the league and the subsequent celebrations (I don't think we should ever get that drunk again) took on these senior players, both body and soul, is catching up to them. or as Ted Hitchcock put it " Never see a team with so many injuries as this b'ys by the lard jaysus."

It's a turning point for the team, but especially for Shoresy, who is so injured that he can't contribute like he used to which is hard for him to face......and he also can't push when he shits ( a running comment in the series)

So much going on in each episode and so much subtle things that are just throw offs til they become important later

    Highly recommend this series

Found this on Prime last night... watched all 10 episodes. Crazy, kinky and funny. Cancelled after 1 season on Starz.

Started to watch For All Mankind and made it to about 4 episodes. Such a cool concept but unfortunately the "men are idiots" was too much. I mean I get today but you are making an alternate universe show set in the early 70's . Was like The Last Jedi was inspiration. Oh well back to Peaky Blinders which I am enjoying for the first time.

    Yep.

Kind of done with "all men are fat and stupid" writing. Kind of the same way I am done with a 5'2" woman kicking the shit out of everybody.

The 4th episode focused on most of the characters flawed past and really amped up Homelander's evil side. By far the best episode of the current season and one of the best of the entire series. The only thing I'm not 100% on board with is whatever the writers are trying to do with Butcher and Frenchie.
