Season two ended on a bloody bonkers kind of note. Damn! Alfie's mum is one of a kind.

Political intrigue mixed with spies, former special forces mates and such... plus a kick of science fiction and sex.

    Cool series that must continue.

There is a new show on TBS called "Chad" It is about an awkward freshman Persian boy who is navigating life and trying to be popular. "Chad" is played by 40 year old SNL alum Nasim Pedrad...who is a woman.

It's the weirdest damn thing I think I have seen in awhile.

There are moments when you forget the star is a 40 year old woman and the comedy is brilliant and squirmy moments when it is so obvious that it's a 40 year old woman and the whole thing smacks of Martin Short and that weird child character he had.

That's it! The Martin Short child character. I could not think of the association in my head, but that's it. Thank you.

I've always liked Katey Sagal... she's got a great resume in many different series playing many different characters... but this show is just god awful bad. Insultingly bad.

She finally gets top billing in her own series and this is the shit she chose.

Twenty minutes was all I gave it since the guy from Northern Exposure was there and that guy from The Untouchables was hanging out also.

    Just terrible!

Funny... I saw a commercial for it last night just heaping with all the praise and greatness that the first episode created. Ugh! don't believe a word of it.

I couldn't get through the second episode... the first one was hard enough. It's just too odd and creepy, and I can't suspend belief and except her as a teenage boy.

I'll give her credit, she did get off a lot of funny lines to just about anyone she was speaking to... but it would be a lot funnier and real coming from a real dorky teenage boy.

    Eric Forman's new "comedy".

That 70's Show need not worry a bit.

Can we please stop with the gender, race, sexual preference, disorder, life status... go ahead... just name one... appropriations of every single character in every new series out of the gate.

Sometimes life in not a fucking 64 pack of Crayola crayons with a built in sharpener, but then someone would be offended because they were not represented... or represented wrongly for that matter.

Turned this one off before the first commercial break. You can have it.

Here I am, watching a British TV show again.

And it's damn good. A few episodes in, with a lot of familiar faces. David Tennant (sp?) is awesome in it, has the female Dr. Who, the older version of Queen Elizabeth in The Crown, Grey Worm from Game of Thrones, the time travel captain from Legends of Tomorrow, Walter Frey from Game of Thrones and other familiar faces.

Again, only a few episodes in, but so far I give it a highly recommend. Good stuff.

Thought I'd give Gangs of London a chance on AMC, I really like it two episodes in. Has some really intense/violent fight scenes, not that it's all about that. I'd recommend it

    Everything's Gonna Be Okay

Season 2 just started. Quirky, odd, annoying. Real life like Norman Lear years.

The young ladies playing the sisters are tight.

Try Brokenwood Mysteries. Not British, from New Zealand but good. And Line of Duty. Pretty intense and a great show.

I've been watching The Waltons on Hallmark channel for bedtime viewing. I need something gentle and non stress producing to get to sleep. So I skip the 11 news and watch this. Usually puts me right to sleep

But last night I turned it on and WHAT THE FUDGE! DId you all know that they recast John Boy in the last 2 seasons? HUH? Grandpa already died, Grandma is only a recurring status after her stroke. Ma has gone on to the sanitarium, the "kids" are all grown up a few of them knocked up so they have brought in a couple of Cousin Olivers and a female relative to care for the family ''

    Who are all these people?

Shows aired in 1979 so I was out of high school and in college and not watching a lot of TV...but how did I miss the fact that they recast John Boy....and recast badly at that.

From the BBC. Not great but surely not terrible. Season one is only 6 - 22 minute episodes so it was a breeze to watch.

I enjoyed all the flash backs to the narrators youth, that are basically the bulk of the story, but really didn't care for the present day goings on and the exuding of lessons learned from youth.

Like most current comedians and such, I'm neither familiar or aware of Liam Williams or his work. I found his present day self in this series to be very uninteresting.
