That Van Halen didn't happen. 1998 - 2006 did not happen. Just click your heels together three times and move on.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

A man's rights rests in three boxes: the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

I'll second that, it's a killer video and great performance.

I haven't seen every song from all these recent shows but have seen quite a bit. The wordy and high pitched China Town wasn't one of DLR's strongest songs in 2012 but he did a awesome job on it here imo. I dug the flow of what he decided to sing and not sing. Really killer song that shined here live. Hear About It Later was also much improved and sounded great!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed! lol This is some killer stuff.

Dave's a nut..how about the bull fighting bit with Ed? lol OR the magic trick appearing "microphone". lol In EWS they bowed to the Japanese audience. DLR is speaking Japanese all over the places getting a big reaction from the crowd and increasing their involvement. What was it in You Really Got me that he called Wolf over and he jammed with his dad for a bit? Putting the spotlight on father and son ripping it up. Way cool imo. I miss Mike but Wolf is a talented kid that is bringing it musically.

How about Ed's solo in I'll wait and his transition immediately after it to the verse parts. Thats a small thing but I'm finding VH extremely entertaining as generally they are kicking ass on so many levels.

How about Wolf and Dave's harmonies on Pretty Woman? They sound fantastic.

There are a ton of things that can be pointed out but a few of these stand out to me compared to 2012. Everything is tighter, better.

This may be the first time I've paid much attention to all of Al's solo this tour.
The horn part cracks me up. When hearing that and seeing the big screen images it reminds me of a 80's low budget local commercial for a bar's nightlife at the shore. lol It was a pretty cool solo and though nothing major is going on musically when he's playing there is a musical track he's soloing on. some of the parts are very cool. I wonder how that comes together for them. Who made it up and put it together? Both brothers? etc.

VH is in a great place, going into the studio now in this form would be a great idea!

Seems like these short tour and one-off shows are making for a better performance. Especially with Dave's voice.

i've watched this whole show on the 50 inch, wow. amazing quality. this is about as tight as your going to see a band. if you like Van Halen, watch this whole show. even with only one camera from the front row, it totally keeps your at attention in my opinion. i'll be watching some of it again tonight.

Dave gets the crowd going at the end of Hot For Teacher. very elongated ending. crowd is fucking amped. honestly gave me chills how loud/excited the crowd was.

    BUMP !! BUMP !! BUMP !! BUMP !!

Bump Bomp Bump Bump Ba Da Da Bump

Whole lot of enthusiastic raving reviews here sounds like they picked the right show for a live album.

Still baffled why they didn't film it professionally.

Thought it appropriate to bump this thread in case a few people might want to revisit .
