This movie was just on VH1 and I must say, the music behind it is incredible. I hadn't seen it for awhile but you really appreciate Eddie as a Rock N Roll musician. Some of the little compositions are pure Rock. I wish I could find the soundtrack to this movie. I probably have to search in some hole-in-the-wall record store to find it.

The thing is, there's actually only one Edward/Donn Landee composition on the album.
I have it, but don't have a record player anymore.
You might be able to find "Donut City" as an mp3 somewhere.
Good luckFUCK THE DUMB SHIT!!!!

I have the soundtrack on cassette. Here's the tracklist...
"Donut City" - Edward Van Halen
"Metal of the Night" - Hanover Fist
"It's Not Easy" - Charlie Sexton w/ Ron Wood
"Human Shout" - Andy Summers
"Wild Life" - Bananarama
"Mind My Have Still I" - What Is This
"Make It Glamorous" - Van Stephenson
"Who's Gonna Break the Ice" - Peter Case
"I Go Wild" - The Three O'Clock
"No Trespassing" - Louise Goffin w/ Charlotte Caffey
Before buying it I thought that the whole album was going to consist of the instrumentals that Eddie did throughout the movie.

Too bad Dognut City sounds like Loverboy's "Turn You Loose,"(sorry I even noticed that), the soundtrack looks like utter crap(wasn't the army kid jammin' Hendrix in the flick or is that another movie), and too bad Ed ended up wastin' a lot of those cool riff, ideas, etc. on Van Hagar... I have this soundtrack too. "Donut City" is OK. I have the album on vinyl, I don't think it was ever released on CD...
“And what we have at our fingertips is arguably one of the greatest high tenor voices ever – that was in Michael Anthony. In our tiny little corner of the universe, that voice is as identifiable as the high voice in Earth, Wind & Fire, as identifiable as the high voice in the Beach Boys. Van Halen is an indelicate house blend of both – that’s intentionally. So I would always look forward to that reunion.” - David Lee Roth
