But as far as their best concert ever...I'd wager it's gotta be one of the gigs between '91 and '93.

This is a very tough question, but some of those South American shows were fire. You can make a case that early 83 South America...band on top in terms of sound, image..etc.

Triumph had the best preformance that day but I also loved Priest and the Scorps. Hell, even Quiet Riot did a good job. Far better than the Crue that's for sure. As for VH...

This is a very tough question, but some of those South American shows were fire. You can make a case that early 83 South America...band on top in terms of sound, image..etc.

It would be wonderful if they released those shows from South America all cleaned up and remastered. I especially like the one where they split-screened EVH's solo with different camera angles. Really cool idea for it's time. Those concerts deserve a Blu-ray release!

Dave was going for the homeless chic look. The band is in fine form but Dave's not as good as he was during those 82 shows.
