Seriously, I already know Al is going to be criminally forgotten or underrated on these kinds of things, a lot of it because the guy has never really ever tooted his own horn. But, Bonzo being #1 is as boring and predictable as Hendrix topping every guitarist list, and as noise said earlier, there are so many different styles and genres, lists like these are pretty impossible and a lot of it will be a popularity contest. Case in point, Dave Grohl at #27? Uhh, hell no.
I also think Al is overlooked based solely on who his brother is. And Eddie may be one of the most underrated guitarist ever. Heís perceived as just lighting fast with a cool technique he uses. Itís a joke to argue he has no feel. As if you canít have both? Add his tone, virtuosity, rhythm and melodic sense and tell me who else checks ALL of those boxes.

    Ok, rant over.

I’m no expert. But Pert is #1 for me. Bonzo #2. Baker and Moon didn’t play as crisp and came off a little sloppy to my untrained ear.

Have to admit, there’s probably a dozen or so jazz drummers that put them to shame. But we’re talking rock. Alex top 5 hands down.

I don't think Eddie is underrated. I think he's worthy of the praise he's received. If anything, I'll give you the rhythm player thing, because it's not what he's known for, but he is very good at it.

Al is the one who is underrated, IMO.

To my ear, in terms of rock, no one's drums sounded better than Bonzo's. Zeppelin's albums were always produced well, especially given the time they were made.
