I really liked that album. Can't speak for the rest of the tour but it was packed in Toronto. Next tour in the same venue was 2/3 empty

Dave's newest song, Forgiveness, got a great response online. Better than he's had in years. The vocals are very well produced.

I don't think I caught the ALAE tour. I did catch him on his YFLM tour, it was at a House of Blues I believe, and it was a cool show in that it was the last time I feel like he did a solo show, before he decided to become a VH cover band in his solo career.

Yeah, everything just felt so much smaller that tour. When we saw the tour prior, it was at a venue called kingswood (part of the big theme park up here). It was the summer, mid-July, I think. He had pretty big acts on the bill. Extreme who just had more than words go #1 that spring, and Cinderella who were effectively a co-headliner. Place was packed - 15k or so. This was 1991. In 88, same venue - Poison opening- place was packed. Felt like the biggest show of the summer.

Fast forward to 94. Same venue. Opening act no one had ever heard of (i want to say they were called No Avail), and the place was empty. There are no people on the lawn (which was like half the capacity, and the seats weren't near full). Just walking to the venue, you're thinking "where are all the people?". It was the end, and everyone knew it. He introduced the band, and most of the crowd (me included) had no idea who they were outside of Brett Tuggle. It was just sad.
