Ok, so you were thinking of opening a thread to thank the band or to ask if we should expect something this weekend to give "a fan's" take on the songs so far (that each already have their own f-ing threads)? This is your place. Talk about whatever the hell you want, post a photo of an omelette or a hamburger. Give a 10 paragraph breakdown take of your thoughts on a lyric. I don't care. Just keep it in here.

I promise not to close it (I can't speak for the other mods).

But please, PLEASE, no more new threads about nothing. This is getting real annoying.

Ed, please give me free back stage passes. I'm your biggest fan. All of these other people suck. I like Wolfie way more than Michael Anthony. Everything on VH3 was sensational. Don't listen to all of these people.

As much as this will open the floodgates, at least it's all channeled here. Not to sound pessimistic, but I'm sure this will be a short term solution. Threads will keep popping up, I'd wager. There should be a restriction: if you have less than 100 posts, you can't start a thread. One of my sports boards does this. I used to PM a moderator if I felt I had something worthwhile to start up.

I like having multiple threads about nothing much better. That way we attention whores can male sure what we have to say is read by all, especially if the thread title is vague.

When I want lots of hits, I start the following threads:

"An Idea"

"What If"

"Next Week"

"Funny story"

"Thanks"

"An Explanation"

"Big Tits"
