I agree, they're pretty good, ....but I think they're fairly highly rated & well known...???....maybe not to the degree that many fans would agree.

I always knew about them from my Dad's record collection....but never actually listened to them until recently this past year.

One song in particular I initially thought was a Nazareth tune which I loved Teenage Nervous Breakdown I had no idea was a Little Feat cover tune.

You are right....they are kinda underappreciated & unknown.....kind of a cult band.....like Blue Oyster Cult.

It's fun to find out about old bands you never heard before & its brand new but old at the same time.

Just now scooped 2 old Blue Oyster Cult albums from a Craigslist deal....Cultasouras Erectus & Fire Of Unknown Orgin....I had no knowledge that Martin Birch produced those 2 albums until recently so they are new to me now.

Nice! Cultosaurus Erectus! Loved that album when I was a kid. Black Blade is one of my favorite BOC tunes.

I had a big record collection (vinyl) growing up. They're all still at my mom's house. I really need to get a turntable again and dust off those old albums.

Yeah, I thought it was cool that I had also seen Martin Birch's name on my Maiden albums.

Black Blade, that has to be one of the songs they wrote with Michael Moorcock (the fantasy author).

Until recently I had a method surfing for VH stuff on the Youtube by clicking the side section & choosing the upload dates. Either click " Uploaded this month", or, " Uploaded this week".

Usually once or twice a month could quickly scroll through & sometimes find something cool I hadn't seen before.

    BUT- Nowdays...forget about it ... .

95% of all Youtube's recent VH are mostly people posting their own personal video about them either playing or talking about VH. Reaction video's, Guitar player's playing a VH tune, & an overwhelming shitload of dorks pretending to be talk show hosts offering their opinions about VH.

    Ugh.

I'm not intending to be negative or critical I'm not using profanity or insults against the YT uploaders.

I know the young folks like to have some fun & that's cool I can dig it but Jesus the search results are convuluted with stuff tagged Van Halen & hardly any of it is actually VH content.

I can't be the only person that noticed this. It used to be so easy but now damn near impossible unless you want to spend 20 minutes scrolling past all the stuff posted at the off chance of potentially finding something cool & new.

Anyhoo- Not sure if this is rare or not but it's what I found & watched tonight.

Recently uploaded from Europe. I'm guessing the host of the talk show. Very few views as of Sunday night. I vaugley recall seeing pictures of Alex holding scissors towards a tv host or something & this is it. Rare or not IDK. I figured with all the time I wasted surfing I might as well post it
