That CD is in my juke box. Random songs from it always sound good on shuffle in between other bands. As a start to finish CD though you gotta be doing something like cooking or building a wall for distraction. It's a good record in the end.

Probably would benefit from tightening it up and drop a couple tunes.

Dave doesn't duet really ever even with people he likes let along with Sam. Oddly when just hanging around with friends or in private he has zero hesitation to get up and just wing it to entertain. But on stage he just never really does or very very rarely. He did once with the Beach Boys.

The more realistic option would've been for Sam and Dave to duet on a recording. Just go in separately, at different times, they don't even need to see each other in the studio. Do it for world peace, all proceeds go to charity.

It is actually DLR's best sounding solo record in my opinion. And the Savoy Brown covers, I had never heard the originals, so, it was like a brand new record for me.

Beach Boys, Billy Squier, RATT, Natalie Cole and Top Jimmy and the Rhythm Pigs are the only times I know of DLR up on a stage singing live with another band/singer.

His one duet on album is with fucking Travis Tritt of all people.
