Can someone tell me what was the deal with the bass lines on Balance, I was told that Mike did them and then Ed changed them or something like that. What I want to know is who's is playing the damn thing on the album, and everyone's got a different story on what really happened.

I've never heard that about Balance. Supposedly Eddie played bass on III, but as far as I know Mike played on Balance.
