I've heard these before and they are amazing. You really get a sense of how vicious and aggressive Eddie's playing was when he was young. Listen to I'm the One and then remember it was done in one take straight through, you can even hear Eddie roll off the volume knob on his guitar during the vocal harmony break.

I'm the One is an incredible song. And listening to the isolated guitar makes me appreciate the song even more. wow...

I know it wasn't 1978 sounding VH, but hearing that song live in 07-08' was a highlight for me- was just a blitzkreig of energy, and it sounded great.

Damn....having an eargasm listening to the isolated "Little Guitars". Fuuuuuck yes.
Just wish it wasnt missing the awesome pick slide that should be at 2:58.

I'm The One has always blown me away the most. Can't even tell you how many times in the car I bust out this isolated track. Sometimes I'll listen to it 3 or 4 times in a row.

Hear About It Later is the one that surprised me the most. I've probably heard the actual song a million times in my life but couldn't believe how different the mix and Ed sound on this.

I know this is old, but damn, just DAMN! I saw a lesson on this one the other day... A case can be made for Ed's most innovative playing on just about any song, but this one really does it for me. It almost brings tears to my eyes, it's so gorgeous. The whole band was phenomenal on the full version too. Totally underrated VH tune to the uninitiated...

It's great for dialing in some tones to! as well as learning the songs overal just a great tool to have! wish guitar hero would do more Van Halen to hear more isolated tracks!

When I heard the isolated track, I almost pissed myself at how awesome it was, just to hear the guitar. It's that rhythm playing that has always gotten to me!
