I WAS LISTENING TO ONE OF MY ROCKLINE TAPES THE OTHER DAY AND ONE OF THE CALLERS CALLED HERSELF THE GIRL GONE BAD . SHE ASKED SAMMY WHAT SONGS THEY PLAYED AT FARM -AID? HER REAL NAME WAS SHANNON. IS THIS YOU?

Not sure if she's here at the 'Links, but Shannon was a member of the original VH Mailing List (VHML) run off the Cornell Listserv. That was back in 1994 - hard to believe it was 8 years ago. Damn time flies (or stands still in the case of the last 3 years)!

The list was maybe 50 or so of us - Brad Starks, Rex Jackson, Liza Cozad, and the occassional posts by Mrs. Van Halen (VAVH) herself. I believe Scotty Ross and Erwin Musper were also subbed at one time although they did not post much if anything. A bit of VHML trivia: Liza started the Redrocker.com site for Sammy and was also Brad's GF for a brief time, I think.
