Eddie Shuts down DLRArmy.com

I hear that Eddie Van Halen has taken legal action against the DLRarmy internet site due to libellous and defamatory comments made about Van Halen and people connected with the band. This site has been forced to shutdown in the wake of the this action.

I seriously doubt it's true... There's no legal precidence to shut down a place for opinions posted... 1st amendements rights would prevail.

The only thing that may be possible is if they were using registered trademark stuff... but if I recall the Army site was pretty much devoid of the VH logos and stripes crap...

I'd say there was either technical problems with the board or Sarge ran into some problems with his hosting service provider. Which is more than likely the case... all the downloads that were up over there surely was pulling a lot of expensive bandwidth which isn't given away for free any more...
