How Many Think VH Will Keep Quite Until After First New Single Is Released?

Do ya think that's the way the boys are going to do it? I think it might be VH's intent. Let the Music do the talkin. Maybe a video at the same time as single releases. I think it would be cool If all the sudden A DJ says we have a new Van Halen Single we are gonna play for ya, And then wham! Eddie's Wolfgang Comes screamin at like a 20 ton frieght train! It would be totally cool, but I would like to see a press conference to gets some questions answered and to see how Dave interacts with the boys.

I'm wondering if they're gonna pull a "Donny Osmond"----don't announce who the band is, just play the songs and let people call in to figure out who it is...

you just know that the DJ will say coming up, the NEW VH single! and then do it again and again and again until they actually play it just to build excitement and ratings. they're gonna aggravate the hell out of us.

I just want to say that you guys are the greatest!! I can't beleive there are so many that love Dave as much as I do!! This is such a rush!!!I am so incredibly grateful!!

No offense Lead Synth and NoAverageJoe, but i can't see Van Halen reconvening after 16 years to create an album and release a single on their website first. It doesn't really make sense to me. Besides, it would be WAY more of a surprise if we heard it on the radio out of the blue. My gues is the single gets released the day of a press conference or a day before. Again, no offense, just my opinion.

I think they will release it simultaneously to the web and radio. They will probably keep quiet until the release, but I bet they will start throwing a few bones to the fans. There will probably be a few sightings, a few press leaks, etc. We've all been salivating for the last few months, but could you imagine if a "spy" photo made its way to the web? Maybe a picture of Ed and someone that you just can't quite make out because of the shadows or his head is turned. Should be fun!

they should release the album right now but! they wont call themselves van halen
itll be a big question mark..... then theyll go on a mystery "tour". and disguise themselves...........

as u can see im going nuts because its taking so long but aw well!
