This has already been mentioned elsewhere, however, I REALLY believe that the remarks from Mike at NAMM regarding a summer/fall release may just be chaffe in order to divert us from one hell of an announcement in the nearer future. Damn I hope I am right.
I think there is a big surprise right around the corner, when we LEAST expect it, why else would ED be so tied up that he couldn't attend NAMM? Dude, they are ironing out the stubborn wrinkles, full steam. If it were that far off, Ed could have taken a couple days off, just doesn't sit right with me, other than trying to avoid being bombarded with questions, I think this is the real reason.

We seem to have done all the promo work so far, and EVH & MA appearing this past weekend is just the first step for the band not being gun-shy of the whole topic.
Any topic for that matter!
It's only gonna get better!
If DLR wasn't back and everything wasn't cool
we'd have heard the same anti-other guy stuff we lived with(and hated!) for the last 15 years.

Well I really don't think they'd want a fall release so I agree that MA's quotes could be a diversion for now. I mean wouldn't it make more sense to have a summer tour when more people will come out instead of the freezing winter? Who knows either way I'll be knocking people down to get to the album in stores!

I kinda agree with the "surprise right around the corner" aspect. Maybe it's because I just don't want to believe the 'fall release' story. LOL.

hey, what about the most obvious smokescreens of all, that horrible dlr song in November. For me this was a big joke, just to confuse us. However, I expected an announcement real soon after that, so I wonder how much more of these smokescreens are still to come..anyway, did dlr's website ever follow up on their promises for a new dlr album??

I for one, think that there will be an anouncement soon(a month or so) but that yes we will have to wait untill late summer or early fall for new music. Just my 2cents worth.
