Just landed in Newark. Read a good amount of Sammy Hagars book. Real good. VH live album was a total studio creation he says

Hagar admits to screwing 5 chicks or more a night under the stage on the For Unlawful tour during Eddie's solo.

Wore a robe when he came back on stage to cover his hard on! Great stuff in this.

Too bad they could have never released a cd of LWAN, that would sound awesome!

Not being a guitar player, what did Eddie do so differently to make his sound so "processed" sounding. Too much electronic sounding to me, it was a bit better for Balance but that whole period of F.U.C.K. and RHRN was just horrendous.

Hopefully the new shit will be more "vintage" Eddie Van Halen sounding.

No....not really. But without a book feeding the fire, I would think that they'd all be ready to move on from that stuff and just concentrate on what they're doing now.

Now, in every interview they do, the actual new music questions will be secondary to the "confirm or deny" sensationalism questions of the TMZ public.

I'll take a backseat to the shit-slinging if there is any, frankly that's what Van Halen's been all about the last 25 years. Might make for a good time.

When VH and Chickenfoot are ready to release their respective projects, this board is gonna reach the point of a nuclear war. Sure Sam may have some things in his book, but let's face it, a book has been on Sam's "to do" list for quite awhile.

When the albums are ready to go, and coincidentally they both went into the studio at the same time, that's when the shit will really hit the fan. And I'll have my popcorn and front row seat on all the action.

I'm no tech guy, but a lot of it has to do with how Ed is driving his stuff....used to be that Ed was overdriving the amp section of his amplifier, whereas he's TRYING to get that same effect by overdriving the preamo section now.
