Sammy was just brutal..

I have to agree with LittleGuitars99, I could not believe my eyes when Sammy appeared live on the NFL Today, a first for football, what a way to self-promote! Anyway, in my opinion, age has certainly caught up with Mr.Hagar and it isn't his fault we can't control age, but I just think he should write and sound the way any guy his age should...he can't sing the way he did with Van Halen and his music reflects that today! So the NFL experience should give us all an indication where his career is heading...I would like to remember the Sammy from the Van Halen days, then this non-memorable performance for the NFL...

Well its official sammys career is over because Littleguitars99 said so...what a fucking joke. I thought the performance could have been a lot better but it wasnt as bad as you make it out to be. And whats the deal with you talking about sammys appearance, do you want to pole him or something.

I usually dont get pissed about anything anyone says on this discussion board but this guy is a fuckin jackass. When it comes down to a guy criticizing anothers guys looks then you know they're either trying their best to find something negative about the guy or they might just be a homosexual. When in the hell did music have anything to do with someones appearance anyway.

Sammy washed up? Give me a F*ckin break. I saw him last summer at Hard Rock Live and let me tell you this guy can still JAM with the best of them. He can sure out perform these lame sh*ts that call themselves musicians these days. I suppose you think bands like Aerosmith are ready for the rocking chair too, Eh? Get Real. Damn people, calm the fuck down. Don't take everything so fucking personally. Cause when you print up something like this above (not jumping all over you dude but it's a perfect example) it can affect everyone else. I quit being a moderator because of constant complaints about every little fucking piece of material that someone didn't like. It's his opinion, and no matter how stupid it is in your opinion, it means (in my best Chris Farley as Matt Foley voice) "JACK SQUAT!" You can't change his opinion so just let it the fuck go. Well, that's live rock and roll. Sometimes it's here, sometimes it's there. Rock and roll wasn't meant to sound perfect. I thought Sammy should have had a guitar strapped on, since he seemed uncomfortable without it. Which makes sense since he's unsually playing one, and he's not in front of his own audience. I agree that he didn't sound great, but I didn't think he looked that bad. He's becoming like Bono with the sunglasses.

Well, in Sammy's defense, everyone has an off day every once in a while. Maybe it was just one of those days when his voice wasn't in top shape. I've heard a few of his new songs, and to be honest, he sounds pretty much the same as he used to with VH. Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

To come to the conclusion that Sammy Hagar was washed up,one would have to believe that at one time he actually had talent.Sammy Hagar can not be a has been,he`s a never was been. Cabo,Tequilla,partying,terrible lyrics,boring=Sammy(Inever had a fraction of Dave`s Talent) Hagar. imo
